Key West/Conch Republic International (EYW)

For those of you who don’t get the “Conch Republic” reference, here is the Wikipedia article with a picture of the sign over the airport.

Official Information

The airport services page does a good job of noting where the mail drop is:

Outgoing mail may be dropped off at the USPS mailbox located outside the arrivals level on the lower roadway, at the midpoint of the terminal building.

The terminal map also shows the location, but you can’t tell if it is inside or outside of the building. (The yellow icon coloring isn’t great from a readability standpoint either.)

Robert sent a postcard and noted that the official information is correct, but doesn’t add a lot of context. The blue collection mailbox is between the arrivals building and the customs building curbside. It’s to the left of the arrivals building.

Robert also submitted this picture from a point across the main terminal road – it’s outside and curbside next to the terminal. You may see the turquoise/blue-green mailboxes first.

Collection time is 10am every postal business day.
