San Diego’s airport authority has stopped listing the locations.

Airport drop-boxes are the standard USPS drop boxes pre-security outside of the terminals on the ground floor:

• In front of Terminal 1 at the “Airport Loop”. This one is not available due to Terminal 1 construction to last through 2024.
• In front of Terminal 2 East near the American Airlines curbside check-in
• In front of Terminal 2 West near the United/Delta Airlines curbside check-in.

Tip: the collection boxes are next to the bus stops. If you’re looking for one, just ask someone to point you to where Bus 992 (the local airport bus) picks up.
